To those who still didn’t know, I’m working for THE SCORE magazine now (like us on Facebook, ok?).

I previously worked part-time for them but now I have taken up a position as a full-time writer. And for the first time since started working two years ago, I actually enjoy working.

Of course, not implying that I hate my previous jobs, but it’s just that I have more fun now. Sure, it wasn’t that fun to work with deadlines every month, but I’m perfectly compensated with the chances I get to meet all sorts of celebrities which ordinary people are willing to die to have it. :D

For instance, I got to see MizzNina up close during a Pitbull’s press conference.

And also the Miss Universe 2011 contestants. Hi there, Juanita! :D

I got to interview Anthony Morse, who is really a nice and funny guy.

Make sure you catch him in The Hidden Cities on the History Channel (Astro 555), which should be still airing now (correct me if I’m wrong). Watch it; the show is an eye opener.

But nothing tops this: I got to meet two Manchester United legends!

First, I met Gary Pallister when he was here for the launching of the new Maybankard.

Then, I got to meet Gary Neville, who was also here in Malaysia recently.

My heart almost stopped pumping blood when I shook their hands. <3

And yesterday, I interviewed Simple Plan, my fav band when I was in secondary school!

Can you believe they are in early 30s? Pierre and the rest of the gang don’t look they have aged at all since they debuted with their first album ten years ago. It must be either a Canadian thing… or they are vampires. -_-

But vampires or not, they sure are friendly and nice. The Girlfriend, who was also there yesterday, asked Chuck (the drummer) to pose for her friend who’s a huge fan of him.

He did, and her friend was obviously ecstatic about it. :D

Anyway, when Simple Plan were doing a press conference, I asked them if they are doing a Malay version of ‘Jet Lag’ for the concert last night. They said no, but guess what? They asked me to do it with them!

To prove I’m not pulling your leg, I have a video to back me up (yes, it was luckily recorded).

*in Barney Stinson’s voice* True story.

They still haven’t contacted me yet, but they should be anytime now. So watch out for it when we release that version of ‘Jet Lag’!

And I’m already practicing for the Malay version now.

“Saya rindu mu sangat teruk~ dan hati hati hati ku sangat jet lag~~”
